My Training Philosophy
I coach from a simple belief: Strength is a skill. You build it with clear structure, steady practice, and trust in your body. My job is to create a training process that makes that possible for you.
Every client starts with a program that matches their current capacity and moves them toward their goals. I choose exercises with intention and teach the basic patterns that carry over into daily life. Squat, hinge, push, pull, and core work form the foundation because they teach your body how to move with confidence. We keep your program consistent for several weeks so you can learn these skills and feel them click.
Training is adjusted in real time. I check in on how you feel each session and match the work to your energy and comfort. You do not need to be perfect to make progress. You are never shamed for where you are starting. Most people discover they are capable of far more than they expected once the process feels clear and predictable.
A big part of my work is helping people move through fear. Many clients come in worried about pain or unsure about lifting. I want you to leave with a sense of agency. You should know how to walk into a gym, understand what to do, and trust that your body can adapt. Avoiding movement for painful joints usually keeps people stuck. With the right approach, most people can move in ways they did not think were available to them.
Clients often tell me that they feel more at home in the gym and especially under the barbell. Their daily lives get easier because they feel strong and unafraid to move. Many manage long standing aches and pains more effectively. Some even go on to try new physical goals like climbing, Lyra, or powerlifting. The common theme is that they feel encouraged, capable, and grounded.
My philosophy is simple. Teach the skill of strength, help people trust their bodies, and build confidence that carries into the rest of their lives.
